Taylre’s journey into the world of writing began in childhood, at the age of seven, when she discovered the enchanting realm of storytelling in her elementary school library. Immersed in the pages of her favorite books, she began crafting imaginative tales on loose construction paper, showcasing a creative spark that quickly captured the admiration of her school librarian. Taylre’s stories found a cherished spot on the top shelf.

For an hour each day, Taylre retreated into the recesses of her imagination, adorning her schoolwork with enchanting shapes, vibrant colors, and carefully chosen words. Her hand-drawn illustrations, filled with the charm of first-grader creativity, became inseparable companions to her stories. Even then, she carried an unshakable belief in the extraordinary power of storytelling.

As the years unfolded, Taylre’s love for the written word only deepened. She never once doubted the profound connection she felt to stories, describing it as one of the most unwavering and meaningful loves of her life. That passion ultimately guided her into librarianship, where she has spent the past seven years working in a public library as a teen librarian and outreach coordinator, connecting readers with books that reflect their lives, imaginations, and futures.

Taylre is the author of seven published children’s picture books and is currently at work on an adult science fiction novel. Across all her writing, she is driven by the desire to craft stories that break through barriers, create lasting connections, and leave a meaningful impression on those who step into the worlds she creates.
